Eyruvin is an independent periodical for poetry and literature. It was founded at the end of 2011, and two issues have been released thus far (in 2013 and in 2015). The third issue is due to be published in early 2018. The brains behind the project are graduates of the Hebrew University’s Department of Literature, who decided to stay in Jerusalem out of love for the city and the extraordinary creative inspiration it provides. According to them, there could be no other background for the periodical’s unique collection of ideas and content, combining secular commentary with contemporary poetry, art, translations, and essays – all of which were inspired, in one way or another, by the spirit of the city and living within it.

The materials published in these issues were selected with meticulous care by the editors, who themselves are active and emotional writers. The periodical also constitutes a stage for their work.
