Mesilat Yesharim
The psychedelic hip-hop group is coming to the Mazkeka to launch their new album “Nivim.”
Mesilat Yesharim creates alternative hip-hop in Hebrew, with psychedelic beats inspired by folk music, mysterious grooves, Jamaican dub, and industrial noise. Their rap is poetic, personal, and political, drawing from Hebrew poetry and the deep fringes of American rap, resisting injustice while recognizing the nature of chaos and the depth of the abyss.
The new album confronts both internal and external wars with heads held high.
The group will perform new songs as well as classics from their previous record “Losing Shape.” Special guests will perform their verses from the new album, as well as original songs and other collaborations with the band members.
